support

Every Server Cafe client has three levels of support:

  • Server Cafe Forum
  • Server Cafe Support Ticket System
  • Telephone Support

Whenever a problem is encountered, e.g., you are unable to access your email or web site, etc., the first place to look is the Server Cafe Forum.  If something is wrong, and we know about it, we will announce it there.  This will minimize calls for support; thus, freeing our staff to concentrate on resolving issues.  If there are no announcements in the forum, and you think you may have a configuration issue, check other areas of the forum for information related to your problem.

After exhausting all forum options, if you still are in need of assistance, log into the Server Cafe Support Ticket System and check the Knowledgebase for information specific to your problem.  If that resolves your issue, well, great!  Otherwise, your next step should be to submit a support ticket through the Support Ticket System.  It is important to remember that no issue can be addressed until there is a support ticket submitted.  If part of your issue is that you cannot even connect to the server, then call and a support representative will enter a ticket on your behalf.

By each client following the support process, described herein, support costs will remain low and will be reflected in the costs of our hosting services.

We thank each of our clients for following this protocol.

The Rock of Cashel

The Rock of Cashel, pronounced cash'l, in Tipperary, Ireland, exemplifies the importance of rock-solid support. In that regard, Cashel and Server Cafe have a lot in common.

At first glance, the above image may give you the impression that "The Rock" is shrouded in a thin veil of fog.  Actually, the image was captured on a very misty winter day.  Thus, the "fog" is just a great many tiny droplets of water a well-placed umbrella kept off the camera lens.
