Gregory McCoy is the senior developer at Server Cafe. Greg holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology and his experience in the Information Technology industry is measured in decades.
Greg has developed systems using most of the mainstream programming languages and has embraced the value and stability of Open Source solutions such as MySQL, PHP, and Linux. His philosophy is pragmatic, "If it is of high quality, stable, low-cost or free, and will provide the desired solution, then it is the right choice."
Prior to his work at Server Cafe, Greg has worked as a program developer and manager in various countries around the world but it was his nearly five years as a Systems Engineer with Hewlett-Packard Company that had the greatest impact on his professional life. During his years as an SE at HP, Greg learned the meaning of quality and the importance of providing superior customer service. Greg's philosophy, combined with experience, allows him to provide high quality and cost-effective solutions to Server Cafe clients.
